Morgan Fairchild is an American actor from the United States. She was born Patsy McClenny on February 3, 1950. Her fame grew from late 1970s until the the early 1980s when she appeared on numerous television shows that typically featured a glamourous look. Fairchild began her career in the CBS morning soap Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace from 1973 to 1977. In her first role as the actress playing Jenna Wade, she made her first appearance on the CBS soap opera for daytime Dallas in 1978. In the following year, she landed a leading role in The NBC drama Flamingo Road (1980), which won her an Golden Globe Award as Best Actress - Television Series - for that series. She appeared on ABC's brief primetime soap Paper Dolls and also in Falcon Crest in 1985-86 as Jordan Roberts. Fairchild was actively involved in theatre as well as in appearances on television shows like Roseanne, Cybill and Friends and Murphy Brown. For the latter she won the Primetime Emmy Award. She sits on the board of SAG-AFTRA.
